Acoustics in Electronics Series, Part 4: Piezoelectric Devices - Archived
Due to miniaturization trends, the piezoelectric components used in certain electroacoustic transducers are so small that it is impractical or impossible to take direct measurements of the systems or test the viability of new designs. Multiphysics modeling and simulation can be used to look at every aspect of piezoelectric components, no matter their size, making it critical that modeling and simulation is used during the development process. For more classical devices such as underwater transducers, for example, simulation and optimization is important when looking at device performance.
Attend this live webinar to see how the COMSOL Multiphysics® software can be used for modeling piezoelectricity. We will share multiple examples that demonstrate how simulation can be used to optimize designs, enhance efficiency, and accurately predict performance under real-world conditions.
