Explicit dynamics provides a powerful and efficient approach for simulating high-speed, short-duration events with strong nonlinear behavior, such as impacts and crash scenarios. By advancing the solution in time without enforcing global equilibrium at every step, explicit dynamics enables fast and robust computations.
In this webinar, we will present the functionality in version 6.4 of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software for modeling explicit dynamics as well as show some application examples.
