LiveLink™ for Excel® Updates

For users of LiveLink™ for Excel®, with the COMSOL Multiphysics® software version 5.6, the toolbar now supports working with multiple parameter nodes and there is an upgraded Excel® file reading library, which is used on Linux® and macOS or if Excel® is not installed on Windows®. Read about these LiveLink™ for Excel® updates below.

Multiple Parameter Nodes

In COMSOL Multiphysics®, you can add multiple Parameter nodes to group your parameters as needed, which is especially helpful when you have a lot of parameters. When a model contains multiple parameter nodes, they will show up as individual items on the Excel® toolbar, making it easier to import only the parameters you want to work with.

The parameters in the dielectric shielding model have been divided into two separate parameter nodes, which can be accessed and updated individually.
