moving mesh

Hello,
I have to model the deformation in an soft object pressed by a rigid punch.
Which option would capture the contraction in moving mesh physics: deformed geometry or moving mesh?
Morevover, is moving mesh physics necessary in this model?

Thanks
Massimo

Hi

I would say if you have "large" deformations from your "soft" body then moving mesh would be best

Good luck
