calculating change in refractive index in acousto-optic tunable filter

I am working on acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). I did acoustic simulations on COMSOL to find Rayleigh velocity and electromechanical coupling co-efficient in layer structure by changing layer thickness of piezoelectric material and on top of it is optic material. Now i want to find the optics part, that changing the thickness of optic material how much change is there in refractive index. Can anyone guide me how it can be done?
