How to Use the Geometry Tools in COMSOL Multiphysics®
In this video, you’ll get an overview of the functionality of the geometry tools in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software. We discuss features for geometry creation, meshing, and CAD integration and include a demonstration of how to build and edit parametric geometries. These modeling tools make it easy to create and combine different types of geometric objects, modify settings, and rebuild the geometry at any time during the modeling process, because the operations used to generate the geometry are stored sequentially. COMSOL Multiphysics® enables automatic parametric sweeps and optimization.
The presentation concludes with an overview of the Design Module, an add-on product to COMSOL Multiphysics®, which offers 2D constraints and dimensions as well as 3D geometry operations.
