In version 4.0 is it still possible to mesh around a point? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

It is possible. To create a finer mesh around a point, do the following steps:

1. Right-click the mesh node (typically Free Triangular in 2D) and select Size.
2. In the Settings window for the Size subnode, select Point from the "Geometric entity level" list.
3. Add the point where you want a finer mesh to the selection.
4. Select the Custom button in the Element Size section of the Settings window.
5. Specify the element size parameters (typically by selecting the "Maximum element size" check box and entering a suitable local mesh size.
6. Click the "Build All" button at the top of the Settings window.

Best regards,
