relative permeability (V3.5a)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi there,

I am modelling a SR generator and trying to define subdomain settings. For the stator and rotor, I have chosen soft iron (without losses).
I use the B=UoUrH as the constitutive relation and it automatically defines the relative permeability. I would like to know what is the meaning of the relative permeability that has been defined:

MUR(normB_emqa[1/T])

Also, Ur decreases as current increases. Is there a way for me to relate the change of Ur with current and define it in the subdomain setting?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
