How to force a non-solid truss to activate with solid surface displacement

In COMSOL, the truss element (non-solid line segment) and the geometry point of the solid surface have coincided exactly, but the truss has no displacement and no stress after applying the surface compression displacement, so how can I force the effective mechanical connection between the truss and the solid surface?

You need to make sure that they have the same degrees of freedom. Go to the Dependent Variables section in the settings for the physics interface, and change the name so it is the same in both Solid Mechanics and Truss,
