Laminar mixture model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I am trying to simualte a steady state flow of liquid having nano particles of Copper (d=25nm). I have to use Reynolds number for which the Stokes flow is valid. Constant void fraction of 0.022 acts at the inlet boundary. The diameter of the tube is 410micron. I have used both Homogeneous slip model and Hadamard model on unstructured and structured grids with direct UMFPACK and seggregated PARDISO solvers but unfortunately I am not getting any results. The error mesages I am getting are undefined value found and/or convergence not achieved.

If some one has any experience with the laminar mixture model kindly repley to this post. I need some expert suggestions on this issue.

Kindest regards
