How to change equation during a transient solution in V4.3

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everybody,

I am simulating a transient solution by using transport of dilute species. I would like to change the equation during a transient solution and use the initial value of simulation 2 from last time step of simulation 1, please help me.

The methodology I use is :
1. I run simulation 1 with the equation 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6
2. I run simulation 2 with the equation 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

How to do it ?

Thank you very much.

Hi

check the doc on the solvers, and the tabs for solver initial values ("Values of Dependent variables"), and get those of study 2 to point to study 1

or if both sequences are under the same study1, then get step2 to point to step1

Then use the step tab "Physics and Variables" selection to disable enable the desired BCs

Good luck
