Converting 2D model 3D.

Hi there,

Can you suggest a way to import a 2-D surface in 3-D file and give it some thickness to make it 3D?
I 've tried directly importing the file but it's filling all the voids in the 2D surface.

Thanking in advance.

In 3 D component create a work plane, and then import 2-d geometry either drawn in COMSOL or software format .dxf, .dwg. You can extrude it to create required thickness.

Hope this help..
