Calculation of effective diffusivity in porous media

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I need some informations. I'm working on the calculation of the effective diffusivity in porous media.
I work with the Chemical Engineering Module. (Diffusion in the case of mass balance)

For that, I want to compute the integral of the normal concentration at the boundary. I wonder what does the calculation of the concentration when you do postprocessing / boundary integration / concentration.

Is it that the normal vector comes into play in this calculation? Otherwise do you know a solution to calculate this integral with a perpendicular normal at the boundary? Should I program it ?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

Thomas
