Arterial Wall Viscoelasticity

Anisotropic hyperelastic materials are used to model collagenous soft tissue in arterial walls. The Arterial Wall Mechanics application describes a section of an artery using the Holzapfel–Gasser-Ogden hyperelastic material model. In this example, the dynamic behavior of the artery is studied by adding a five-branch viscoelasticity feature to the hyperelastic material to capture the viscoelastic response.
