How to Synchronize Geometry Selections from SOLIDWORKS® to COMSOL Multiphysics®

Using LiveLink™ for SOLIDWORKS®, you can synchronize the geometry selections for material assignments made in SOLIDWORKS® to COMSOL Multiphysics®. In this tutorial video, we will show you how to transfer over these selections for use within COMSOL Multiphysics® and demonstrate how these selections are maintained regardless of the design being changed within SOLIDWORKS®. Furthermore, we show you how you can combine selections of different parts of your design in SOLIDWORKS® with explicit selections in COMSOL Multiphysics® to create custom selections of objects, faces, edges, or vertices. To demonstrate all of this, we use an integrated circuit (IC) assembly model, along with a ship hull model.
