MW heating acts on asbestos fibers in slates and degrade them at low temperature comparing with conventional heating methods. The simulation of comsol multiphysics makes important roles to investigate the degrading mechanism, and will be introduced at the conference. We introduce the ... Per saperne di più
Terahertz (THz) radiation lies in between the microwaves and the infrared region of electromagnetic wave spectrum corresponding to the wavelength 30 µm to 3,000 µm. This EM range has found widespread applications in several industrial ... Per saperne di più
Multiphysical simulation is a daily-used tool for loudspeaker design and engineering, however it is still a time expensive process that requires specific modeling capabilities. In order to increase engineering efficiency and to broaden the usage of multiphysical simulation, at ... Per saperne di più
Per saperne di più
Diabetes is a chronic noncommunicable disease which lays a heavy burden on many impoverished communities globally. The ability to monitor and manage the disease is one key component to lessening its impact. 3D printing (3DP) offers an economical manufacturing method to produce medical ... Per saperne di più
Laser surface texturing has emerged as a promising texturing technique due to properties such as excellent repeatability, non-contact process, the ability to achieve small-size features and high-quality finishing. The work described here is part of the H2020 research program called SHARK ... Per saperne di più
Electromagnetic micro valves are currently developed empirically or the different physics are treated separately. To accelerate the development-process and for a better understanding of the overall system, a multiphysics simulation is built up. This simulation considers the ... Per saperne di più
COMSOL Multiphysics has been applied to develop a model for inductive heating. A coarse, lumped model of the interior of a high temperature reactor is coupled to finite element models for the electromagnetic field, the temperature distribution outside the reactor, and mechanical stresses ... This paper proposes the design of a 3-Degree of Freedom(DoF) motor based on surface acoustic waves in elastic solids. The rotor is propelled by wave fields, for linear and rotational motion respectively, in the stator, that can be steered by the driving signal of the piezoelectric ... Per saperne di più
Due to the inseparability of the wave equation, numerical methods are needed to develop an accurate electromagnetic model for various axisymmetric resonators such as micro-discs and micro-toroids. Our purpose is the implementation of a perfectly matched layer to determine the quality ... Per saperne di più
