Modellierung und Simulation in der Brennstoffzellenentwicklung

Im Vergleich zu batteriebetriebenen Elektrofahrzeugen (BEVs) können Brennstoffzellen-Elektrofahrzeuge (FCEVs) eine höhere Energiedichte erreichen, eine größere Effizienz aufweisen und aufgetankt werden, ohne dass eine sehr hohe Leistung aus dem Stromnetz benötigt wird. FCEVs haben jedoch hohe Herstellungskosten, eine begrenzte Lebensdauer und eine geringe Leistungsdichte im Vergleich zu BEVs. Diese drei Einschränkungen sind auf das mikroskopische Design der aktiven Schichten in den Brennstoffzellen zurückzuführen.
