Varying Geometric Dimension by Matlab

I bulit a RF model and it works pretty well in Comsol3.5a.
I save it as a m file and it can be run in Matlab in Comsol with matlab also.

Now, I want make a loop for a Geometric Dimension of a domain in matlab. Now the problem is that the definition of geometry in m file is included in a seperated *.mphm file. It is a binaryfile file, so how can I make script to evoke a geometry valiable?

By the way, my model is composed by several simple circles with the same centre. I was wondering why comsol save it as *.mphm.

Is there a good example which show the optimization of a Varying Geometric Dimension by matlab?

Thanks in advance.
