Energy calculation with PML boundary condition

Hi,
I am working on a 2D finite element analysis of a thin rectangular piezo to analyze frequency response. On the left and right boundaries of the piezo, I have used PML boundary condition. Now, I want to know when COMSOL calculates the stored energy in the piezo, does it calculate and add the energy in the PML domain? Please give reference supporting your answer.
