Adding an External Radiation source with the Surface-to-Surface Radiation Module for a 2D Geometry

I have the same question as the post linked above. I am using COMSOL 6.2 to try to model solar radiation deposited onto a 2D terrain using the surface-to-surface radiation module with an external radiation source. The COMSOL documentation outlines that the node should be available in 2D and 3D(linked herehttps://doc.comsol.com/6.2/doc/com.comsol.help.heat/heat_ug_ht_features.09.125.html). However when working in the 2D environment the external radiation node is not present in the global physics properties, but it is in the 3D environment. I was wondering if anyone knows a work around for this, or an alternative method to model solar radiation hitting a surface at an angle.

Thank you!
