Liquid Crystal Based Modulator Modelling using Weak Form PDE, Electrostatics and EWFD Solver

Hey, I am trying to build a Liquid Crystal based Modulator in which I am using 5CB LC filled in trench which covers SiN waveguide. Trying to model the reorientation of director axis of the crystal molecules, the director axis is rotating in the opposite direction to the electric field for some special cases. As per my knowledge, this must not happen. I am attaching my design.
Where am i making it wrong?
