Friction and Acceleration of gravity

Hi,

I would like to know if COMSOL recognizes the friction between two different bodies with different material during the simulation and calculates with friction? Or you have to specify the friction always separately?
With the acceleration of gravity, it is equally. Is the acceleration of gravity included automatically or neglected?

Many thanks for the reply...

Yasemin,

you can specify friction in a subnode under a contact node and you can specify 'Prescribed Acceleration' to any domains.

Cheers
