Fluid-Structure Interaction in a Network of Blood Vessels

I'd like to simulate laminar flow of a fluid using the geometry presented in figure 3 here (www.comsol.com/model/download/664161/models.sme.blood_vessel.pdf)

When the geometry is imported from applications -> Fluid structure interactions, the geometry contains blood vessel and surrounding tissue. I'd like to request for guidance on how to remove the external tissue from the geometry. I wish to retain only blood vessel for performing a laminar flow simulation on the resulting geometry.
