Time Harmonic Analysis of a membrane coupled to Pressure Acoustics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am fairly new to COMSOL and I am trying to obtain the frequency response analysis of a clamped membrane which is loaded by the water medium. I am stuck at some points, I am searching an answer for the following question:

I am using an axisymmetric model. First, I started with "Axial Symmetry, Stress-Strain" mode and found the eigenfrequencies. Then I used prestress (first static and then freq. response analysis) and I saw that frequency shifts as expected.

Next I coupled the acceleration to the "Pressure Acoustics" mode and the genereted pressure to the "Axial Symmetry, Stress-Strain" mode. However, after a frequency response analysis the membrane shape becomes very peculiar and the results are not correct. Can somebody help me to come through thsi problem please.
