Unable to extract velocity value (z-direction) inside microchannel

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Sir,

I have used solid mechanics and laminar flow module of COMSOL MultiPhysics 4.1 to simulate my damper. It has 20 nos. of microchannels filled with oil.

When this damper vibrates, the oil moves inside microchannels. I want to extract the velocity value inside microchannel.
I am using cutline 3D to define a line inside microchannel across which velocity has to be extracted. In this I am defining 2 points for z co-ordinate, but software is considering whole z - length. Also no velocity plot is appearing in Result> 1D plot group 3>Line Graph 1.

Kindly help me to troubleshoot my problem. The .mph file of damper is attached with this mail.

Thank you.
Best regards,
Rajeev Kumar Singh
