Meshing

Hi,

Can we do meshing in two different regions in geometry separately? For example, if I have one region where the liquid is flowing and another region where air or gas is flowing, then I may need to do meshing separately in those spaces in the same geometry.

Also, Do we need to do meshing in the complete region where there is flow or involved in computation? If there is outside region of the geometry where there is no flow, Can we neglect than for meshing because that is not involved in the computation of problem?
