Flow Simulation - Membrane break

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello I am simulating a transient high-speed fluid inside a manhole. By default manhole does not have any exit. The manhole contains idea gas only. I am simulating the velocity, pressure and temperature in side the enclosed manhole due to sudden rise of pressure. I would like to add an exit location (line in 2D and surface in 3D) in such a way that when at exit location when pressure will reach a certain value the membrane will break and gas will exit from there. Could someone please advise how to define such membrane? Thanks.
