error when switching from parametric analysis to transient analysis

Hi all:

I am modeling the insertion of a probe into the brain, and the main challenge right now is to model the tissue relaxation:

In the insertion process, I have the probe displacing at about 20cm/s into the brain using parametric analysis. I then store the last step and use it as the initial condition in a new simulation. In this new simulation, all the boundary conditions on the probe has been removed and it just sits in the brain tissue, and I want to see how the probe and brain interact. In the new simulation, I switch to transient analysis, but I can't run the simulation because I get the following error:

Error: 6170
Failed to evaluate variable.
- Variable: auglagiter
- Geometry: 1
- Boundaries: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Failed to evaluate variable.
- Variable: pn_cp1_smsld
- Defined as: ((min(((5^auglagiter)*0.001),1)*E_smsld)/hmin_cp1_smsld)
Failed to evaluate operator Jacobian
- Operator: if
- Geometry: 1
- Boundaries: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

I am attaching the file, can anyone let me know what the problem might be? Also, anyone have any idea how to complete the insertion and relaxation in one simulation instead of two as I have done?

Thank you,

Joe
