COMSOL/MODEFRONTIER

Hi,

Does anybody know How to do a model comsol 4.0 file which can be used with Modefrontier.

Mode frontier can work with m files, java and DOS files.

All Comsol version before 3.5a, were able to create a m file, with comsolbatch, but not since 3.5a.

I asked to the support comsol, they told me to save as java file and then compile it. I dont know how to compile it.

They told me too, they will send me an exemple, but I'm always waiting for.

So if someone knows, I will be very happy.

PS: I'm not a user, just an IT provider, working for COMSOL and Matlab user.

Regards.

Isn't it already possible to save as M file under Comsol 4? You need a livelink license though, and then a menu shines up saying "save as M file".

Hi Danial,

Thanks for your reply. Actually when you save as a m file, this one can't be operate in modefrontier.

Before (Comsol <3.5a), to run a Comsol simulation in modefrontier, You just put a command line "comsolbatch" , this one gave you a m file, it was fine.

But now with new Comsol, it doesn't work (because matlab disagree to work like this, and ask to comsol to stop this option..)

So now My user would like to know how to do..

Regards.
