capacitor with leakage current

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, All:
I am simulating a capacitor with leakage current, that means the domain of dielectrical material should have a complex permittivity(karpa+i theta/ omega), karpa is the dielectrical constant, theta is the conductivity and omega is the frequency. I want to simulate the static situation, but I tried using AC/DC electrostatic model, and put a complex number for relative permittivity, then the simulated capacitance is also a complex number....

Does anyone have such experience? Do I need to use multi model(electrostatic+ quasi static)? If so, how to handle it?

Thanks a lot.
