How to use AC excitation?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, my name is Wang Jiujiang from University of Macau.
I am using COMSOL to simulate a capacitor, after I simulated
using DC voltage, I want to add AC voltage.

After I add a physics--circuit and then 'voltage source', I cann't
add the source to the driving voltage of capacitor.

Can anyone give me some hints for this problem?

Thanks !

Wang Jiujiang

Hi,

use a frequency domain study! This equals an AC exciatation.

Maybe there is something wrong in my model, I am still trying. >>>>>>>>

Can you provide an equation of your excitation voltage?

Is it purely AC like u(t)=u_0*sin(2*pi*t/T)

or DC superposed with AC like u(t)=u_DC+u_0*sin(2*pi*t/T)

Thanks for you answer.

I'll try it in Monday.

Happy weekend!

Hello, Eric:

Thanks very much!

Just as you told me. I can add AC signal now!
