time dependent radius equation for EDM process

Hi,
I am simulating EDM, most of the literature used time dependent plasma radius equation which is than employed in heat flux equation on the surface.
While I was using the constant radius, it was working fine. Later when I employed time varying radius equation (using analytic function in comsol 5.6) it started giving errors.
Looking forward towards positive responce.
