Simulation of pump down graph

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hi community,

I would like simulate the pump down graph of my vacuum pump.

My first test is to use laminar flow, create an air cube of 1m^3 and add a vacuum pump on a side.

The specificity of the vacuum pump is :

flow (m^3/s) pressure(mbar) 1 1333 1 0.8 0 0.8

Normally the simulation would lead to a graph with a decrease from atmosphric pressure to 0.8 mbar. But in my case i have a flat graph at 0.8 mbar.

Can anyone help me ?

  1. If those numbers represent pumping speed at a few different pressures you will probably want more points.
  2. Post your model.
