Transmitted evanescent compoent after passing through the periodic grating structure

Hi everyone, I am folloing the tutorial model about plasmonic_wire_grating.
By setting those ports, I can get the transmission and reflection for different diffraction orders T_+1, T_-1 , as the same in the tutorial mode.
However, all the ports are placed at one wavelength away, such that only propagating compoents are measured.

I was wondering that if I placed the ports closed to the interface, and rewrite the mode profile of ports, is that possible that I can get the transmitted amplitude for evanescent compoents for higher orders, i.e. T_+2, T_-2, etc.

Has anyone done similar things before?
I aprreciate if anyone can clarify if the evanescent higher diffraction orders are doable.

Thanks!
