Falling ball sound

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all, I'm trying to simulate a sphere (steel) falling on a base (concrete) and I'm interested to study the sound produced by the impact. I'm working with multiphysics: solid mechanics and sound pressure transitory. I used a contact pair between sphere and base but I'm not sure what kind of body load to use (volume force, total force, only gravity?). Any suggestions are welcome
