Hi!
I am using the plate physics in v 4.1 for a vibrating plate. How do I know if Comsol solves for plane strain or stress?

Left click on your Solid Mechanics node, and under "2D Approximation" (for 2D problems) you can find the option to select Plane Stress or Plane Strain.
