after designing geometry,

comsol shows that 'vertex too close to edge in 2d domain'

what is wrong with my designed geometry?

great thanks.

Hi

could it be that you are designing i.e. some mems or optical items with very small features (<1um) or large ratios >1:1e6 and that you have not adapted the relative and or absolute for cad import geometrical analysis ratios ?

do not forget that even in double precision 128bits IEEE floating point binary numbers, the binary representation of numbers do not allow for much more than 1:1E6 in value ratios for numerical processing of second order equations

Good luck
