Permeability

Hi
I'm modeling a laminated core with COMSOL 4.3 in 2D. I have defined the permeability of the steel with a BH curve. My model is working pretty good as we expected. I can plot the B and H on any cutline in the model but I can not read the permeability value in the model. The software returns the following error:

Failed to evaluate the available .
- Variable: mod1.mf.murxx
- Damain: 2 5 ....

Anybody knows what is the problem?
Regards
Hamid

I've checked a fixed value for permeability and COMSOL can show the value. But still there is problem with permeability when it is defined as a BH curve.

Hamid,

you can try to plot normB/(normH*mu0)

Cheers
Edgar

Hi

Thanks Edgar. Your solution works.

Is this a bug of the software or I've missed something in my model?

Hamied
